Counselling for Young People

Growing up can be challenging.

Young people face pressures academically, socially, and emotionally. Counselling provides a supportive space to reflect, understand feelings, and build confidence.

I work with young people aged 11 and above, both privately and in schools, supporting anxiety, low mood, friendship challenges, self-esteem, identity, and the emotional impact of growing up. My approach is warm, steady, and relational, helping young people feel comfortable to express themselves and find ways forward.

Young people often come to counselling for:

  • Anxiety, stress, or low mood
  • Friendship or social challenges
  • Self-worth concerns, self-doubt, perfectionism, or shame
  • Academic pressures
  • How they see themselves and their place in the world

Counselling supports young people to:

  • Build emotional resilience
  • Strengthen self-esteem and confidence
  • Develop self-awareness and healthy coping strategies
  • Explore feelings safely in a supportive space
