About Me & How I Work

Who I Am

I am an integrative counsellor grounded in a person-centred approach. The therapeutic relationship sits at the heart of our work — a space where you can be fully heard, understood, and supported without pressure. From this foundation, I draw on a range of approaches, allowing our work to meet your needs rather than asking you to fit a single method.

Before becoming a counsellor, I spent many years working in international events, leading teams, mentoring, and supporting people from all walks of life. I also volunteered in hospice care, offering a calm, steady presence to people navigating emotionally complex experiences.

Additionally, I have extensive experience working with young people in schools and charitable organisations. These roles strengthened my empathy and my belief in meeting people exactly where they are.

On a personal level, I love walking with my rescue dog. Being outdoors helps me feel grounded and present — a perspective that gently informs the therapeutic space.

How We Work Together

Counselling sessions are collaborative and shaped around your needs. You lead the pace. There is no expectation to have answers or know the way forward. Therapy unfolds naturally through conversation, reflection, and emotional exploration at a rhythm that feels manageable.

An Inclusive Space for All

My work is adaptable to different ways of processing experiences, including clients who are neurodivergent. While I cannot diagnose, sessions offer a supportive space to notice patterns, understand your inner world, and develop clarity, confidence, and balance.

Session Structure

Sessions are usually weekly and 50 minutes long, at the same time each week. Consistency helps build trust and supports the therapeutic process. If weekly sessions are not suitable, adjustments can be discussed.

Please get in touch

If you would like to arrange an introductory call or ask a question, you are welcome to do so. Taking the first step can feel daunting, and my aim is to make this process as straightforward and supportive as possible.

All enquiries are usually answered within 48 hours. If you have not received a reply within this time, please check your junk or spam folder, as messages can occasionally land there.
